So one thing I got to do was go fishing with Papa. We went catfishing with Rusty and Paul. I learned all about catfishing and fishing in a real fishing boat. It was really fun even though I smelled a little fishy for a few days. (The smell might have been too much for pregnant mommy. She washed my clothes four times.)
Papa is great! Because even spending all day on Friday with him and driving in his fast car, he decided to include the girls (Nana and Hady) on a little something too and we went to see the Cat in the Hat at the local theater. As Hady would say, "The cat is so so so funny."
Oh, don't worry fall break was far from over. We carved pumpkins with daddy and mommy after a long bike ride. Hady still scoots but she is getting closer to keeping up with me. I think our pumpkins might even make it to Halloween even though we did a super early carving this year. And like always, we carve 'old school' pumpkins.
On the last day of fall break, we hit Brown County. The leaves are changing and we were full of energy so we did a little tree climbing, a little hiking, some horseback riding (on ponies) and some eating. It was a fun day.
Yep, super high. Hady hung around while I climbed the fire tower...then I did a little tree climbing too.
We found this old playground and had a blast on this teeter tooter from the past.
Hiking with some breaks.
Probably one of the last pictures of us being mommy's only two children. Baby brother still in the belly but still without a name.
Pony rides all around.
Hady daydreaming about when she can ride a big horse. I can next year...hello being six!
So that was my fall break. Up this week...Halloween and meeting my baby brother. Can't get much better than that.
