Pumpkin season...

The first day it felt like fall we all packed up to head to an orchard to pick pumpkins and enjoy the beautiful weather. This orchard had it all...a train, animals to pet, pony rides, ice cream...probably if you can name it I did it that day! Hady was along for the ride and I am beginning to think she enjoys our family adventures.

Hadley's cereal

Well now that Hadley is four months old she thinks she is so big. She tried her first 'meal' (rice cereal) and gets to eat with us at dinner time, although I see most of the cereal on her cheeks. She visited the doctor today and weighed in at 15 pounds 4 ounces and is 25.5 inches long. If you ask me she really isn't that big because I weighed three more pounds and was almost two inches longer than her at four months.
But we all enjoyed watching Hadley try her first bites of rice cereal...she started by thinking it was fun to sit on the table with all of us looking at her...then she wasn't sure she liked the stuff being put in her face..then she decided her hands tasted better and it was less work than eating the cereal.

Hadley is 4 months!

Tomorrow Hadley will be 4 months old. I can't believe we have been a family of four for 4 months. I really can't remember life without Hadley. And although we have all went through many transitions these last four months life really couldn't be sweeter! Life with Hadley just means more smiles, more giggles, more people sitting at the table for dinner even though she doesn't eat anything with us yet, more people going for walks to feed the ducks, a constant companion in the backseat (my favorite) and so much more.

FALL...

It is beginning to look and feel a lot like fall. So I did my first fall activity...I painted a pumpkin. Every season brings new adventures...I can't wait to see what this season holds for me and Hadley besides Halloween and lots of candy.

Hadley's first trip!

Daddy and I hit the farm and Nicks while mommy and Hadley were away for the weekend. We texted mommy pictures of me sipping back on my drink of choice at Nicks...SPRITE! Mommy texted us with pictures of Hadley on her first plane ride. We all survived and it was good to return to a family of four! Here is a picture of mommy and Hadley in Pennsylvania for one of my great grandfather's 86 birthday! I had a little too much sprite so I can't post any of my pictures *wink*wink*!

Everyone has something they like to do on lazy afternoons at the lake....or where ever you might be.
I have found out Hadley likes to sleep....
Daddy likes to sit and relax...
Mommy likes to read...
And I cannot sit still to save my life...Here are some pictures of what I like to do on those lazy afternoons.

And of course I included Hadley sleeping because Mommy says "everyone LOVES a sleeping baby!"

Friends (family)...

We went to the Children's Museum in Indianapolis last week with good friends, well it was actually my second cousin so they were FAMILY! One thing I have a lot of is family and family that is close by. I am blessed to be able to see so many people that love me so much on a daily basis!

I have been swimming a lot! That includes riding on daddy's back!


With the cooler temperatures, we have been walking to feed the ducks! That is one of my favorite warm weather activities.


























And of course I have been playing with my baby sister! She has started to laugh at all the silly things I do which just makes me do more of them!





























Then I have been stealing a few sips of any available diet coke...I'm sneaky!


























And I have even been perfecting my hopscotch. I may be ready for the world tour sometime soon! WATCH OUT!
