This was our final Christmas celebration and it was a good one. We opened a few more presents and got to enjoy Uncle Dave and another great grandmother. Hadley was so tired from our long weekend of festivities that she asked to take nap. Oh that silly girl does love to sleep. I was tired but I was enjoying my new toys way to much to want to go to bed.
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and have a very Happy New Year. Mommy says that is up next for us....then shortly after I turn 4!
Beware this is another long picture post...proceed with caution.
Stockings with a nice bump on the forehead.
We are very good present openers.
Hungry hungry hippos....a crowd favorite.
Papa is so goofy.
She is going to have to learn to cook.
Coolest game ever!
Everyone adores pictures by Uncle Dave. I have some hanging on my wall and so does Hadley.
Backpack from Uncle Jason and soon to be Aunt Jaime...notice the light up slippers (those are new too.)
Santa came.
Christmas morning finally came and it is everything I dreamed of. Presents under the tree...cookies eaten by Santa...stockings full of goodies...smiles from everyone. It was such a fun morning.
This is a big one.
Hadley and I bought presents for Reagan...she waited patiently for her special treats.

Christmas Eve...
Warning! This post contains a lot of pictures...I am sure very few are necessary but what can I say "I'm cute and look good in pictures."
We spent Christmas Eve with Nene and Luke and most of my aunts, uncles and cousins! Hady and I might have got the coolest Christmas gift ever....a horse! Ok, ok, ok...a toy horse but still a horse! Daddy drove home with it strapped to the back of his truck and I watched from mommy's car to make sure Diamond made it safe and sound to our house!
Before we left Nene's we opened a few Christmas traditions from mommy and daddy. We opened our Christmas pjs and a new Christmas book. This year there wasn't any snow...but I am still hoping for snow soon!

Hady wore her Christmas dress and mommy tried to snap a few pictures of her but she isn't a picture poser like I am.

Our attempt at a cousin photo..."Come on Charley and Hady....SMILE!"
I love Nene and Duke! Hady does too because they gave her a candy cane...
Closing my eyes for the big gift!
Hady went a little crazy...
White elephant...Duke is growing a boyfriend as we speak.
The beginning of the Christmas posts...
Christmas at the lake! Our Christmas celebrations started on Friday. We drove to Grandpa's lake and celebrated with daddy's cousins and their families, my aunts and uncles and cousin, Grandpa and Catherine and there was even a great grandma in the mix.
It was a full house with lots of excitement. Lots of presents. Lots of food. And lots of family. We spent the night and my favorite part might have been playing with Uncle John and Aunt SuSu in the morning.

Supporting Xavier even though daddy says I can never act like them when I play basketball...I don't even know what that means?!
Cousin Charley...he is moving in with us later this week! FUN!

Hady likes to unwrap!

Still getting ready for Santa.
Seriously...will Santa's big day ever come? I know it is just two more days but it feels like we have been getting ready for Santa forever. Thank goodness tonight I start my Christmas celebrations with Grandpa and Catherine at the lake because it will help to keep my mind off two days, two days, two days till Santa comes.
But mommy is trying to keep us busy and we have been having fun. Yesterday we made reindeer food. Did you know a lot of people forget to feed the reindeer? They give Santa cookies but those poor reindeer fly and fly and fly and don't get any treats. So we mixed together some energy food like oatmeal and sugar with a few sprinkles to help those reindeer find our house. This morning we got our hands dirty and made a handprint Christmas tree. Mommy couldn't get any pictures of the 'doing' because Hady wanted to put her green handprints everywhere but on the paper. Seriously Hady, paint goes on paper not on the countertop...

It's only the beginning.
Of winter break! Three days gone like a blink of an eye and four days till Christmas!
So let's see...we have made a gingerbread house, done some Christmas shopping, got caught up on playing in the basement, watched a few movies (yes! break is all about being lazy and staying in your pjs...but not sleeping in!), played with our lions that we talked mom into buying with our sweet smiles, and went to the Children's Museum today.
Best part so far, probably the Children's Museum. I love the dinosaurs. They roar and scare Hady! I asked Santa for a lot of dinosaurs. I hope Dixon tells him I am on the good list. I try but its really really hard sometimes for because Hady takes things from me, grabs me and just plan bothers me. I do love her but come on! Sometimes I have to let a little yell out to tell her who is boss! ME:)

Chasing away the lions...oh wait, maybe they are chasing us...
