Catching up!

Life has been busy since starting kindergarten.  I have been at school everyday for the last forty plus days so forgive me but I am in need of catching up on life on this thing.  I love kindergarten, my friends and my teacher but it has taken some time to get used to.  Mommy takes me and picks me up from school which is great.  We often get to stay and play at the playground with some of my school friends and Hady which makes the afternoons fly by.  I sometimes have homework but I also just like to show off my reading and writing skills at home just because it is so cool to learn to read and write.

Well here is the other stuff I have been up to...
Uncle Jason and Aunt Jaime visited from Colorado for Labor Day.  I had a few days off school and we got to hang at the lake.  The weather has just now cooled down so there have been many lake weekends since then too.
 Reagan looking older.
Hady just watching everything and everybody.
Finally got to sail with Dave.
A little friendly challenge (I was the scorekeeper).
Dave's bday celebration.  96 years young and 3 years young.
 Dave needed some help.
Some late evening wakeboarding from daddy and Uncle Jason.

Hady and I are playing fall soccer.  I play games and Hady just learns skills.  We have both improved a lot since the beginning.  Hady is working on not using her hands (tough skill) and I am working on learning how to play the game.  Go after the ball and dribble it towards the ball (also tough because kicking it as far as you can is much more fun.)

I went on my first field trip with my kindergarten class.  Mommy got to come and walk around with us.  And I got to ride the bus to Peden Farm which was almost as exciting as the actual field trip.
Hayride.

 Petting the mule.
 Plenty of things to hold.
Lots of new things to try.
And cute little squishy animals to hold close.

Fall has come and we are starting some of our favorite fall traditions.  So far we have hit the pumpkin patch and got to paint some of the pumpkins we picked out.

Last but not least, we participated in Hoosiers Outrun Cancer again this year.  We did the one mile family walk and I ran with daddy while Hady and mommy ran together.  I stopped once because my heart was beating so fast but I beat daddy by a mile and had so much fun.  Hady even finished the whole one mile.  I saw her sprint across the finish line like it was nothing.  It was a beautiful day to support a great cause.
