So long tball and a few trucks.

Last Saturday was my last tball game. It was fun while it lasted. I got to meet new friends, run around a play every Saturday morning and learn a little bit about the game of baseball (Papa is proud).
Since we all got so much better, we got medals at the end of the game.
Snack time after the games were the best.

I had a lot of special visitors at games...this game Nana and Papa came.

You are probably wondering how tball and trucks go together....well they really don't. It is just two things that happened this week and I seem to be playing a lot of catch up on here lately. This week was Touch a Truck. It is exactly what it sounds like...a place that you get to see and touch about any kind of truck you could think of. We had a blast. But the highlight was watching the helicopter land on the baseball field.
Hady liked driving all the trucks. This one was a cement mixer.

We had to take turns and wait patiently...Kind of hard sometimes.

This was a Duke truck. We climbed up there and got to dig a hole just like the Duke workers.

Something mommy and daddy don't ever want to see again...both their kids in the back of a police car.:)

So fun.

New Adventures.

So tubing is great but it is easy. I am a pro so I thought it was time to try something new.
Here I am setting out on my latest adventure.

Getting ready.

Ready to roll.

I have to keep practicing, no one can master skiing on the first try (not even me).

My best try. I went about 100 yards then we had to go back and pick up daddy.

I am ready to go again.

Heat of the summer.

Well not really yet but we are still looking for places to cool off and the lake is one of them. I am sure that all the posts of the lake get a little repetitive but it is a big part of our life in the summer. We are there almost every weekend enjoying the sun, the water, family and friends.
Most recently, Jim, Sarah and Justin came to visit from Cincinnati for a good time.

Of course there was some tubing...by ME!

And some swimming by me even though the water was a little chilly from the cool nights.

Oh and swimming by Reagan too.
Sunning on the pontoon boat ride.

All smiles too.

A little lovin' too.

Hady is a tubing pro too.

Hop ahead to this past weekend there was a lot of fishing but a very small amount of catching.

The small amount of catching may have to do with the large amount of talking I do. But oh well we have fun.

Memorial Day weekend.

Yes, I know I am one weekend behind but I tell you the start of summer vacation has been busy! Mommy has been keeping us on the go and that means no time for me to think about writing.
Memorial Day weekend was a fun one. We started with Pappaw's annual BBQ. This year it was catered by Hinkle's and they have the best hamburgers. I learned how to order and by the end of the night the ladies knew my name. Did you know there were no other people named Rice at the BBQ.
Our attempt at Memorial Day pic...hopeless.
Oh, it was HOT!
I'm telling you...The. Best. Hamburgers.
Sunday we were off to the lake.
And it was still HOT!
Boatrides require special treats.
There was plenty of tubing.
And I like it fast.
There was plenty of swimming too.
Hady enjoys swimming and tubing too. That girl does not like to be left out.

Catch up from May.

We have been busy. The last few weeks of school came and went and now it is summer! Now I have some time to sit back and enjoy my toys, my books, my friends and even Hady. We had a lot of family visiting from all over at the end of May. Some of my second cousins were here and all of my first cousins. We had a blast. There were so many of us Nene's house turned into kid central for a few nights.
Plenty of photo trys with Pappaw. Pictured with Holt and Ben (second cousins.)
Girls picture with Pappaw. Pictured with Hady is her second cousin Hannah.
Almost the same age.
And we are just a few months apart too.

Since we are catching up....Hady had a chance to try out her new new tea set. I enjoyed the tea and biscuits ('goldfish') too. Hady makes Daddy 'tea' about every night. Maybe she will own a tea shop when she gets older....who knows.

And this is me on my last day of preschool.
