I have had a baby sister for one week! It feels like I have had her forever! It is hard to find her sometimes because she is so little so I always have to ask mommy and daddy "Where did baby go?" She loves my kisses but doesn't take great pictures yet. It is because she can't say "CHEESE!" like I do. Today she looked so pretty with a bow in her hair so mommy took a few pictures. ENJOY!
That means.... Playing outside! Getting sweaty and dirty! Fishing! Ant hunting! And of course SWIMMING! Check out my new pool! Hadley just wanted to do a little sunbathing...who could blame her she is looking a little pasty!
I think our great grandparents may be the oldest people alive! Ok mommy said they aren't but that we are so lucky to have them around. Hadley met Pappaw earlier this week but he is photo shy so when Hadley went to meet Nan and Pop Sonneborn mommy was sure to snap some pictures. Here are some pictures of Hadley with one set of her great grandparents... PS They were attending a luau later that day...I wanted to go. I can hula with the best of them!:)
My baby sister came home yesterday! I was so excited...and she got me a present! Well a few presents. She is the best! Here I am trying out my favorite present...pedaling is hard work! And here I am just enjoying being a big brother!
Ok so when I say it it sounds like "nee babee shester!" But you know what I mean. I love her already. This morning I took a picture of her to school to show off to my friends and teachers. So here are so "show off" pictures for you! PS---Mommy said I needed to put her stats on here...She weighed 7 pounds 1 ounce and was 20 inches long. I made her look like a small fry. I weighed in at 8.1 and 21 1/2 inches long. Well I am the big brother:)
Have I told you before how much I love my dog! Especially when she lets me throw the ball into the water at the lake...oh and when she runs around the house like a mad dog after a bath...oh and when I chase her with my trucks....oh and when (this could go on forever)....I JUST LOVE MY DOG!
It was a day all about moms. We let my mom sleep in, daddy and I made her a card, we went to the lake because that is where mommy likes to spend sunny afternoons, daddy made lunch at the lake, I took a mega nap, we walked to feed the ducks because mommy likes to be outside and mommy didn't have to make dinner thanks to Nini and Luke! Here are a few pictures of mommy's favorite mother's day gift....ME!
So you already know I made the ultimate sacrifice and gave my baby sister my bed but I wanted to show off pictures of how great her room looks with MY old furniture in it. Now it is not finished...so keep in mind that this is a work in progress. I keep telling mommy and daddy to get a move on but they say something about not having a name for the baby. And how Uncle Dave is doing photos for the wall and he lives far away in a place called California.
We have been so busy on the weekends, even though it was rainy outside it was nice to be at home all weekend and get to do some of my favorite things. I got to go to Wonderlab with mommy and daddy. And really I think daddy likes to explore there as much as I do. Today, I painted and yes even though Uncle John and Aunt Susan got me a smock to paint in I still paint in my diaper. I find that it gives me the most inspiration. Then I was riding in circles around the house trying to get away from daddy. That guy just won't leave me alone. I finally had to pull my sword out to get him to back away. He knew I meant business. And with all that...I am trying to learn to go potty on the potty. I will keep you updated on that. But if I do say so myself...I am getting pretty good.
Mommy always says "Where does the time go?" and these last few months have flown by. I am going to be a big brother in less than 3 weeks. I will love my little sister with all my heart but I am enjoying my last few weeks with just my mommy and daddy! Secretly, she can stay in mommy belly just a little longer!
