Christmas celebrations

We started off our Christmas celebrations at Grandpa and Catherine's.  Oliver didn't know what all the fuss was about.  I loved being surrounded by my cousins.  And Hadley was most excited about the gifts.  She loves gifts of all kinds.

Hadley turned into Elsa.
Oliver got a book all about him or maybe it is about a duck and an egg.  Either way he loved it.

 Hadley's best bud.
Next up...Christmas Eve and Nene and Duke's.  Christmas Eve there means even more people.  Even more cousins.  Even more fun.  One of my many cousins...
Oliver mastered the Christmas present opening.
Hadley got her own wrapping paper.
Oliver's present was a big hit.
 Cheese...

Christmas morning spent opening presents from Santa.  Playing with new toys and and enjoying our little family.
 Santa got it right.

He knew exactly what everyone wanted.
 And Oliver takes his time.

 Elsa and Elsa.
 Zooming around the halls.
And one more at Nana and Papa's.  Elsa came...she went everywhere with us on Christmas Day.

Santa.

Every year mommy attempts a picture in front of the Christmas tree.  Every year she can't choose the best one.  Every year we try for a good one three or four times.  Some years we nail it...some years its a flop.  You be the judge of the pictures this year...I think we have a few winners.  We were all dressed up for brunch at the Country Club with Santa.

After Oliver's last encounter with Santa, he chose to stay far far away.
Hadley and I wanted to tell him what was on our Christmas lists.
He checked to make sure we were being good.
And Oliver remains happy that he didn't have to sit on his lap or be held by an elf.

We got in one more quick visit with Santa before Christmas Eve when he is too busy to visit with anyone.

Polar Express

Going on the Polar Express in French Lick has become a tradition.  This year Mickey and Charley, Kelly, and Nene and Duke went with us.  The more the merrier right.  We had a lot of fun.  We didn't end up staying the night like in the past but we did ride some ponies, see a horse drawn carriage, look at all the decorations and have some fun running around outside because the weather was warm.
Always fun to visit the reindeer stables.
Oliver wasn't sure what to think.  I think he didn't remember visiting last year.
 My message to Santa.
 Hadley's Christmas tree.
 Oh, we are ready!
Oliver really enjoyed the ride until Santa.

Tickets have to get stamped...or off the train you go.
 Lots of dancing.

 Here comes the big guy...
 Everyone loves Santa...except Oliver.
