Sledding.

I know I told you all the reasons I love the snow but my most favorite reason is sledding.  It is so fun and I can't wait to try snow skiing which mommy says will happen soon.  We have been sledding a lot and this just captures a little of the fun but I know you will be able to tell just how much I love sledding.  (I am even sledding this afternoon with a few brand new sleds.)

Me awating the first sled run.

First time down with Uncle Johnny.  Little Johnny is just too youn to sled so Uncle John had to go with us.  I didn't mind.

Louie is always waiting for John at the bottom of the hill.

Hady is my favorite sledding partner....if I have to have a partner.

Solo runs are always more fun.

But what are big brothers for?
Uncle Johnny taught us hwo to sled like penguins.

Hady even tried it.

Everyone took a turn.

 Wheeeeeeeeee!

Last run of the day....I didn't want to go home.  I definitely wasn't cold.
It was fun and we have been many times since....Next up snow skiing.

Reasons I love the snow...

So I love the snow!  And we recently got plenty of snow for me to love.  So much snow that for a few days we were trapped in our house.  I drove mommy a little crazy but we took advantage of the snow and got outside plenty.  Hady has even learned to love the snow.  Here are the many reasons I love the snow...

Reason 1: You have to get all dressed up in clothes that you only wear when the snow is on the ground.  Mommy says that it takes forever to get us dressed but I think dressing up is only half the fun.

Reason 2: Reagan loves the snow as much as me so I always have a buddy that will go out and play.

Reason 3: When you are all dressed in your gear you can just plop right down in a snow pile...no questions asked.

Reason 4: It is fun to watch Hady try to walk in snow that is above her knees and she doesn't think it is funny which makes it more fun for me.

Reason 5: Reagan cannot run as fast in the snow which makes it easier for me to catch her.

Reason 6: It is just pretty.

Reason 7: You can throw it.

Reason 8: It makes you enjoy the inside of your house more because your house is warm.

Reason 9: Ordinary things are more fun in the snow....like this piece of wood I found in the garage.

Reason 10: Sledding...there are more sledding pictures I promise.

Reason 11: Hot chocolate...a must have when you come in from playing outside.

Reason 12: Snowmen are fun to make.  And I made my first one by myself...can you guess which one I made?

Hope you got out to enjoy the snow...there is still plenty of it around here so take advantage!  I am going sledding with Nana later today...should be fun!

Christmas Day!

Our last Christmas celebration is at Nana and Papa's with Uncle Jason and (new) Aunt Jaime, Uncle Dave and both of my great grandmothers. Opening presents never gets old so I am ready to go for round four. And Santa made another appearance there...he filled more stockings up!

All dressed up again!

Stockings!

Red was the color of the day!  Hady loves her Papa!

Hady's favorite present from all of Christmas...a light up ladybug from Uncle Jason and Aunt Jaime.  She sleeps with it every night.

Mickey watch!

Cinderella!

Come on Uncle Dave...I am ready to play outside with my new remote control truck...from YOU!

Wrestling with the uncles.

Yep, a blizzard watch on Christmas night!

I can't wait for the snow! But I know many others were dreading it.

Christmas morning!

Well we were all snug in our beds awaiting the arrival of Santa! Hady was the first one to wake up...she has a little timer on her bed that goes off at 6:15 every morning. Ok, not really but she does wake up at 6:15 every morning. She crawled into bed with mommy and daddy and waiting for me to wake up. I guess all the partying made me tired because I slept and I slept and I slept. Finally, with some rustling out in the kitchen I got out of bed. Let the festivities begin.

I really don't know how Santa does it...he gets it right every time.  Look at that sparkling new bike, the right color and everything.  It looks almost exactly like the one in the store!  And guess what...even though I only asked for a bike.  He brought me other stuff.

Check out the presents...there were even some for mommy and daddy and Reagan.

He filled our stockings.

Hady got her 'baby stuff'.

I got another dinosaur.  I only need one more and I have a birthday coming up.

And we tried out the new bike.  Even though I was a little nervous at first...by the end I was riding on my own.  I will own this bike this summer.  PS Don't comment on mommy's outfit...It was cold and we still had pjs on.

Christmas Eve

It is a Christmas tradition that we spend Christmas Eve at Nene and Duke's. We had a crowd and that just means more fun people for me to play with.
All dressed up waiting for the fun to start.

 Family portrait...Christmas Eve 2012

With Duke just hanging out waiting for little Johnny to arrive!

Hady's bedroom partner Ali!

Presents!

Santa baby!  aka Mickey!

Hmmmm....don't really know what to say.

One of our Christmas traditions is to get new pjs to wear on Christmas Eve....We also get a new Christmas book even though we always read 'A Night Before Christmas.'

Cookies are placed.

Reindeer food is scattered across the lawn.

Now it's time for bed...and we wait and wait and wait for morning.  Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night! (Yes, I know I am writing this a week or so late....)
