I went on my first field trip today. I have been there before but never like this. Ricey went there on a field trip and told me everything I needed to know but I got to do things he didn't get to do. My friends and I went to Kroger today with Mrs. Gebhardt and Mrs. Baxter. We walked around the whole store. We even got to in the freezer and the milk cooler. We climbed in the back of a really big truck. But my favorite parts involved food. I always like food. The sweeter the better but our first stop food stop was at the seafood department. I touched mussels and clams and a real. live. lobster. Yep, you heard it here. Then, we were off to the bakery and I decorated a cookie with a hairnet on. We stopped by the deli to sample some cheese. Then stopped by the produce department for some fruit smoothies. And finally we took a secret staircase to overlook all of Kroger. Whew! It was a fun trip with my friends and mommy. I know I will be back to Kroger soon but just for shopping.
