Easter was a whole lot of fun. Every holiday for us involves a lot of family time and a lot of different visits to grandparent's houses. This Easter was no different. We started off at Grandpa and Catherine's with a Good Friday dinner and egg hunt. Even though Kelly had Charley and Mickey in training, our experience paid off and we found a lot of eggs. It was a beautiful day and Grandpa did a great job of hiding eggs for all ability levels. I think Johnny was the only one that took a face dive.
Oliver's first Easter.
Grandpa has a tree that grows eggs with $10 bills inside. Amazing...I won't give away the location.
Egg dying and bunny cake making. Always.
Patience is key to get the color perfect.
Another tradition...Easter carnival at the Country Club. Games were up first.
Oliver only needed a balloon. Babies.
And the bunny always shows up.
Oliver was not afraid one bit.
Hady waited. and waited. and waited for the face paint.
Time to hunt.
Found the golden egg. And you wouldn't believe it but Hady found the silver egg in her age group. Score.
Huge baskets.
Easter morning.
Some eggs were left outside.
I mean she is my sister but she is pretty cute.
We must be pretty special to get these baskets.
And a great picture on our front porch.
