We are trying to live it up this summer with spending time outside. The weather has been perfect without feeling like you are going to melt with sweat so we took a cooler Sunday trip to McCormick's Creek. Mommy used to spend a lot of time there with her grandparents when she was about my age. We got lucky and they had a special program at the nature center. I got to meet some really cool animals, including a hedgehog and got up close and personal with a few hawks.
We love each other sometimes.
We found the perfect lunch spot that included this old playground and tire swing.
Yes, it is blurry but Hady is in constant motion especially when you add a tire swing.
We hiked down to the waterfall, climbed on some rocks and even got a little wet.
Another summer day...another adventure for us. Next year I am going to go on a horse ride through the woods because I will finally be six (the age you can do just about anything.)
