Getting ready for any holiday at our house is a build up of activities to the big day...Easter was no exception.
We dyed eggs.
Even added glitter to a few for an extra effect. FYI makes pretty eggs but not good for eating....glitter goes everywhere.
We went to the Easter carnival at the country club. There were plenty of snacks, some healthier than others.:)

Hady got her face painted. She didn't care what was painted on her face but she did like to pick the colors.
The Easter bunny stopped by and he happened to leave some eggs on the lawn for us to find.
Hady was a champion egg finder....
The bucket is weighing her down but no worries she isn't done hunting yet.
Daddy made her give a few eggs away to even out the stash.
Then we went to Grandpa and Catherine's lake house and the bunny must have hopped by on the way to the club and he left some more eggs there. I was beyond excited. Candy is a big motivator for a five year old boy.

Already a successful egg hunting experience and it isn't Easter yet.
