a quick trip to Florida

Well our trip to Florida was fun filled, really there was never a dull moment.  We spent every morning at the beach and every afternoon by the pool.  We had plenty of time in the water and in the sand.  I am ready for our trip to the beach in June...it is all I can talk about.  I am a pro ocean swimmer now.  Hady even braved the waves.  And she swam all by herself in the pool...thanks to some coaching from daddy in the hot tub over the winter.
Here are the pictures and like all of our trips be prepared for a photo overload....

This is our first morning in Florida.  We flew out super early in the morning and were on the beach by 11.  I couldn't wait to get my toes in the sand.  Hady couldn't stop talking about the beach on the airplane (or hairpin as Hady likes to say.)

We could jump the waves all day.

She really is my best bud...even though we fight and argue sometimes.  I love her more than anything.

We had to go back for the sunset.
And we couldn't stay out of the water.

Jumping the waves was even better at night.  You could say we got just a little wet.
We decided to try boogie boarding...the waves proved to be a little to big for that this year.

The googles didn't even help...too much salt water, sand, and waves for me.  Maybe next year because it did look like fun when Nana tried it.:)

The afternoon were spent relaxing by the pool.

Hady's giant princess frisbee was a huge hit.
Trying to get dry but it is tough when you only want to be in the water.

Grandpa and Catherine, Hady loves her sunglasses....she wore them everywhere.
I worked on my flying through the air tricks...or diving.
Still one of my favorite things to do in Florida was walk to the beach...enjoy the sunset...look for shells...jump some rides...and if I was lucky take a short walk on the beach before hitting the hay for the day.
