yesterday.

Daddy always comes home from work and says "What did you do today?". Most of the time, I say "I don't know." with a devilish look on my face but yesterday...yesterday was one of those good days. Not that I really have a bad day...but yesterday was one of those days I could soak up forever. We got a slow start to the day, Hady took a LONG morning nap so I was stuck begging to go outside while mommy folded laundry. But once Hady woke up we were off to the park with my bike and Hady's stroller and a cooler full of yummy snacks for lunch. It wasn't sunny, but just right. I rode my bike along the path, spotted a deer, raced a dog, and just enjoyed the summertime. Hady of course wanted to wander, so we headed to the playground. The pictures mommy took are from the playground because she had a free hand for once...Hady is becoming adventurous and I know she wants to be just like me. I love that and will try to cherish it in my own 3 yr old way as long as possible. After the playground, we threw some rocks in the creek and then lunch rolled around.
After lunch and a little more playing...we headed home for naps.
Oh, then the sun came out and we were off to the pool. I swam and swam and swam. I perfected my run, jump off the diving board. I practiced my swimming without my bubbles (I am getting good). Then daddy came...a swim with daddy is the best. We jumped, swam and worked up an appetite.
Finally, dinner with friends and a bath and bedtime. Reagan has become my new partner in crime in the late night hours...well sort of. She sleeps with me even though I sometimes crave someone (something) with two legs instead of four. She is alright and She enjoys my squishy bed and comfy blankets as much as I do.
