the week...

I guess I should entitle this post...the last few weeks but oh well. The last few weeks have been something else. Mommy said good bye to two wonderful grandfathers (great grandfathers for me) which meant a whirlwind of family and traveling. How lucky am I to have had some great grandfathers in my life (and I still have one left). They are both remarkable men that mommy tells me I will be lucky if I grow up to be like them. One was the kindest man to walk this earth in a very long time and the other had a lot to teach about friendship and relationships with people. I hope I have a few of their traits as I grow older. Check out their pictures...they had a zest for life living to be 87 and 96.
Well in this whirlwind I got to spend time in Pennsylvania and then come back to Indiana and spend lots of quality time with my uncles. My great grandfather in Pennsylvania (Pop W.) shared his love of trains with me. I just wish that I was there when he could have ran it for me. Check out the picture....he made everything! All the backdrops and buildings, he even made a train. And are plane trip to Pennsylvania wasn't half bad thanks to Papa! Being with family here in Bloomington meant lots of lake time and playing with my uncles. They are pretty cool...Dave swam and tubed with me, Jason took me hiking in the woods and kayaking. I hope they visit again soon...I miss you already.
Well I will let the pictures speak for themselves...life is good! And we have a lot to be thankful for...
