Chirstmas flew by this year. We finished school the day before we started Christmas celebrations so it seemed like it snuck up on us. Like almost every year, we started our Christmas celebrations at Grandpa and Catherine's. And like every year, it was fun and kicked off the celebrating perfectly.
Next up was Nene and Duke's on Christmas Eve. And it was a packed house. And we had a very special guest...you wouldn't believe it but Santa and Mrs. Claus came. He picked Nene and Duke's for his special Christmas Eve visit. It was so cool.
Then we always put out cookies, sprinkle reindeer food, and read The Night Before Christmas. This year I read the whole book to our family.
Then, was Christmas morning at our house. Hadley thought Santa brought us a refrigerator but actually it is a float for the lake. We can't wait to use it.
Finally, Christmas day at Nana and Papa's.
It was a perfect few days but whew! I am glad it is over until next year. I am always pooped when the celebrations wind down.
Oh, I forgot to mention we did catch Santa when he was in town at the Country Club earlier in December.

Marco Island!
We returned to Marco Island and Nana and Papa's house for fall break and then again for Thanksgiving break.
It is always fun with the pool close by and the ocean just a walk away. Mommy loves the sun. I like the fishing best of all. Hadley likes to color by the pool. And Oliver likes to wake up and ask to go swimming at 8 am. Nonetheless, there isn't much complaining in Florida.
