Gymastics

Hadley has been rocking her gymnastics meets.  Her and mommy go to a lot of meets by themselves and the boys have a 'boys day.'  She had a great meet this past weekend and the one event she struggled on she wanted to spend her snow day working on.  I am not a gymnastics expert but she is my favorite gymnast by far.

 Floor- 7.35

 Vault- 8.7 3rd place

 Bars- 8.4 5th place

 Beam- 8.5 6th place

All Around 32.95 7th place

Basketball

I have been having a blast playing basketball this season.  I have a ton of friends on the team and I have made a few new friends too.  All the practicing outside and in the basement has been paying off.

I'm 8!

It is hard to believe.  But I am 8!  I had the most awesome birthday you could ever imagine.  I got surprised with a trip to Georgia on Thursday morning which means I played hooky from school for two days while I lived any boys dream.  I rode horses.  Played with dogs.  Watched the big boys hunt.  Rode on a buggy.  And got surprised with a new puppy who I named Riley.  It was quite an adventure.

When I got home mommy had planned a little party with some of my friends and a lot of my family. 

Being 8 is pretty great.
