The big birthday...

Hady turned one on Saturday...it was a day all about her. Mommy and daddy reminded me that a few months ago I had my big day but seriously why cannot we not have two birthdays? Birthdays are fun...presents, cake, family, friends and mommy and daddy saying "awww it's your birthday!"
Well even though the day was all about Hady, I got in on the action too. I helped mommy make Hady's giant cupcake (which means I got to like the spoon and then eat the leftover cupcakes for lunch:). I spent a lot of time outside playing with Hady. The day was beautiful and because I love Hady so much, I gave her a birthday ride on my motorcycle. I even let her drive. Don't worry safety nuts, daddy was always close by he just stepped back for the pictures. You know it isn't cool to have daddy touching your motorcycle. And while Hady napped, yes birthday girls have to nap, I went on a worm hunt. I found a few and one was especially wiggly. He just wouldn't let me return him to the soil.

Our life...now a days!

It seems our life is ever changing...we are both getting bigger and are able to do more things. Don't worry there are still plenty of cuddles to keep mommy happy and daddy smiling.
Hadley is a walker...she has started to keep up with me.
The warm weather means lots of time outside at the lake and pool.
Our new house means that we have more room to run.
I LOVE IT ALL!

Walking...

Hady is hot stuff now a days. She has been working hard and she can take a few steps before she bounces down on her bottom! Secretly I think she enjoys falling down more than walking. I know she will be chasing after me in no time...right now she is still faster crawling but soon we will be playing tag together. Or more likely, I will be stealing toys away and running away to hide them before mommy and daddy can see.

A summer (like) day...

Hopefully summer is right around the corner...the days are getting warmer...the sun stays out longer...and school is almost out for summer! All of this means more fun in the sun....
