A little bit of catch up.

Life speeds by.  Kindergarten is almost over.  Can you believe it?  Oliver is five months old.  We have been having so much fun there is hardly any time to get any work done.  So here is my catch up on life these past few months.  We have gone through a winter that no one will forget.  There was so much snow and cold weather that it was almost impossible to play outside.  Spring is here now though which means walks after dinner, playing outside and plenty of time spent at the playground after school.
Here is Oliver at four months!  He enjoys smiling.  Playing with his brother and sister.  Laying under his animals on his playmat.  And bathtime.
Here is Oliver at four and a half months.  He quickly mastered rolling.  Now you can't leave him unattended anywhere.  He may roll himself into a different room.  I think he is just trying to catch me.

Here I am playing basketball.  I played in the Upward league and had so much fun playing real games for the first time.  I met some new friends and learned a lot about basketball.  Even though my jump shot is a little crazy, it gets the job done and I scored quite a few baskets throughout the season.  My favorite thing was dribbling down court.

Hadley and I both enoyed some crazy school days for Dr. Seuss' birthday.  I got to wear pjs to school.  Can you believe that?  And Hady got to wear some of her favorite crazy socks.
Hadley is into dressing up and performing.  She likes to do ballet, gymnastics, and sing songs from Frozen.  Everything requires a special outfit.  Here are a few of our favorite Hadley moments that were captured.

While Papa and Nana were away enjoying the warm weather, mommy and I got to go to a basketball game.  We even saw them win.
And Oliver.  He goes everywhere.  I know he doesn't have much of a choice but he is a trooper.  This kind endures school drop offs and pick ups.  Shopping runs with mommy.  Baseball.  Gymnastics.  And most of the time he is smiling.
His first go in the johnny jump up.  Wasn't quite sure but he is definitely getting the hang of it now.
He hasn't quite mastered the sleep thing.  He isn't close to sleeping through the night but mommy doesn't seem to mind some mid day snuggles and snapping pictures of a sleeping baby.

Here are a few more pictures from our trip to Captiva for spring break.  Not too bad for shot of three tired kiddos at the end of a great day at the beach.

Spring break

Spring break is always a whirl wind of fun.  This year was no different.  We were up and out of the cold in Indiana in the early hours and in the warmth of Florida by lunch time.  We stopped by Nana and Papa's new house on the way to our beach vacation house on Captiva.  Nana and Papa have banana trees which Hady loves but in Captiva the beach was just a short walk and there were enough rooms for everyone.  Hady and I even enjoyed our bunks in an ocean front room.  We swam morning, noon and night in the pool and in the ocean.  By the end of the vacation Hady didn't need those bubbles.  Here are some of the pictures...there are way too many to share so enjoy these.

Hady vacation style.

Me on the beach with some sea creatures.  We found so many shells I brought some back for my friends.

Oliver will be a water baby too just like me and Hady.

Mommy has to find the picture of me in that hat...besides the blue eyes we could be twins.

The waves weren't too big for us.

Oh...just two peas in a pod.

No worries daddy is holding Oliver up.

And some family pictures.

 Just having fun.

And three generations of family on the beach.
