Celebrating mamas.

Mother's Day was last weekend and that meant a weekend all about mom. Ok to tell the truth, they might have done a little bit for me like take me to tball and let me pick going out to dinner at the lake instead of cooking but still it was pretty much all about mommy.
We headed to the lake Saturday afternoon and the weather was perfect.
Here are the reason mommy is a mommy.
We may be goofy but we love her.
Lets not forget Reagan.
We did some boat riding and driving.
Daddy was there too. He helped celebrate.
We all love Mommy, especially Hady because she always has the most patience with Hady's personality.
And, finally more visitors to celebrate a few more moms....especially Nene.
Happy Mother's Day to mommy, Aunt Kelly and Nene!

Animals in my life.

So you may know I have a dog. You may know I have a fish named Donkey that has successfully lived in our fish tank for a world record breaking 8 months. But I don't think you know about all the other animals in my life. Yep, I am a regular zoologist.
Check it out.
Minnows.
Sharkie the shark.
My favorite minnow.
Our day trip to the zoo...I did I little rock climbing between my zoo animal experiences.
Lions. My favorite of all time.
Watch out for the walrus.
Yep, that's a shark.
Hady was there too. She liked to point at the sharks.

Sporty.

So soccer was my game in the fall and this spring I put my shin guards back on and ventured back out onto the soccer field for some fun.
If you have never played soccer before, you first start with the warm up.
And then the real action.
Of course there are lots of games which means lots of fun.
All of this while Hady does a little cheerleading from the sidelines. Did you know behind every great man (in my case boy) there is a great cheerleader?

OK time to switch gears because I might just have a new passion or just be a two sport kind of boy. Because I started t-ball and I love it. We have snacks, we hit the ball, we run, we throw the ball, daddy helps coach, and there may be a few tackles when we are chasing after the ball. Any way....it is fun.
My uniform.
My homerun.
Daddy is a coach and really this might be his life calling. He is good. Mommy says it teaches him patience.
Our first game, I started in the infield. But check out my stance...it is getting there.
After my first hit, my coach was giving me a little advice on where to run next. SECOND BASE!
And again, my loyal cheerleader taking a break with some raisins.

My life lately.

Here is a bit of a catch up post! We have been so busy with playing outside that I haven't got to the computer much! But we have been having a lot of fun and enjoying the warm (almost too warm) weather. There is only 15 days left of the school year and then summer so more warm weather activities to come.
We celebrated Nana's birthday at the end of April. I won't tell how old Nana is because she might come over and get me but lets just say it was a bit of a milestone.
Happy birthday Nana!
The butterflies are out and I am a catching machine.
With warm weather, brings rain. Sometimes a lot of it so mommy had some crafts ready. Colored mini volcanoes.
Hady loves bubbles and straws so we tried a new bubble trick.
PS don't drink the bubble juice. YUCK!
And I have been begging to set up the slip n slide and finally we had a day that was warm enough to put on swimsuits and play outside. The water was still cold but on this extra warm day, we still played for hours.
Hady really couldn't figure out how to slide.
She liked the sprinklers.
And running through them.
I guess girls will be girls...but I like to slide and slide fast.

First field trip.

And guess where we went...you will never guess. We went to Kroger (the grocery store) and we got to go behind the scenes and got to try LOTS of food.
My preschool friends (some of them are in the afternoon class but we all went together)
Friends for a long time!
So excited, we started with ice cream.
We felt what it would be like to be ice cream in the freezer....burrr!
The live lobsters hadn't arrived yet so we held other things.
Next stop, bakery! And lots and lots of food!
In a couple more weeks we get to go on a nature hike and then before I know it my first year of preschool will be over!
