the weekend before...the weekend before.

Last weekend, we had our first Christmas celebration.  It was the weekend before, the weekend before Christmas.  Before we could leave to go to the lake, Hady had to go to gymnastics and I had a good breakfast with the boys (aka my uncles and Pappaw).

Hady loves gymnastics...and she loves her sparkly leotards from my friend Molly.  This one is her favorite because it has the most sparkles.

Oh, wait...her favorite time is probably free time at the end.

After gymnastics and breakfast, we headed to the lake to visit with family.

This year we tried something new instead of presents, we helped Grandpa decorate his new tree with some bead wreaths.

 

Turned out nice, if you look close I made all the ones without a pattern.

 

We scavengered for candy.

 

We hung out with family and got some glow in the dark necklaces to liven the party up.

 

Oh, and of course we went on a pontoon boat ride.  As you can see, Grandpa could only convince his grandkids to go on the boat ride.  It was much warmer than at Thanksgiving.

 

Presents...there will be plenty of presents.  Last weekend was about family, young and old.
