Memorial Day weekend...

So I am playing a little catch up...summer means more time outside running and playing and less time typing on the computer. What can I say? Well Memorial Day is the official start to summer and what better way to celebrate than a weekend at the lake (well two lakes to be exact!) We started at Lake Lemon and boy was the fishing sweet. I caught more fish than I can count and fished for hours with my favorite fisherman by my side (Papa). The weather wasn't the greatest but the fish liked it. Then we stopped at Grandview Lake before coming home. John and Susan were there and I talked both of them into going for a swim with me...brrrr the water hadn't warmed up yet. But the boat ride was perfect. John is a pretty good captain. Finally, we ended the weekend with Pappaw's Memorial Day party and boy was it hot!
